Highway 30A Songwriters Festival

The Fifth Annual Highway 30A Songwriters Festival is set to take over Florida’s Scenic Highway 30A January 17th, 18th and 19th!  This three-day music event will feature 150 songwriters and over 200 performances at over 25 venues.

This fun celebration of singers and songs will features performances by Richard Thompson, Ani DeFranco, Kristian Bush of Sugarland, Loudon Wainwright III, Robert Randolph and the Family Band, Shawn Mullins, Tinsley Ellis and more.  The festival lineup highlights songwriting from a variety of musical styles including rock, country, blues, folk and more.

Venues for this year’s event include WaterColor, WaterSound, Alys Beach, Gulf Place, Rosemary Beach, Grayton Beach, Seacrest and Seaside which all feature Highway 30A’s famous, brilliant white sand beaches and turquoise waters.

A VIP dinner with guest chef Stephen Satterfield from Miller Union in Atlanta and a wine tasting hosted by wine distributor Adam Caperton (former owner of Larder on 30A) have been added to this year’s schedule.

Co-Producer/Festival Chair Russell Carter said “There is a profound meeting of the minds with everyone involved in the festival.  Musicians from across the country have experienced or heard about the rewards of performing on 30A in unique venues in front of the best listening audiences possible.  Meanwhile, music fans near and far  have learned that 30A is the annual premier destination for the third week in January.”
